Become A Racehorse Owner For A Day
MYER Ladies Day, Sunday 4th May 2008
MYER Ladies Day on Sunday 4 May will be the culmination of Gosford Racing’s Autumn Racing Carnival in a day of fun, fashion and thoroughbred racing.
The feature race on the day will be the $50,000 MYER Ladies Day Handicap for Fillies and Mares over 1100m.
Gosford Racing, MYER and TAB are giving up to 14 lucky people* the chance to experience the thrill of thoroughbred racing by becoming an Owner For a Day.
There are great prizes to be won! Visit the stalls to meet your horse, be trackside to chat with your trainer and jockey and hold your breath, when your horse attempts to take out the $50,000 Myer Ladies Day Handicap at Gosford On Sunday 4 May.
*number of winners will be determined by the number of runners in the MYER Ladies Day Handicap (maximum field of 14)
How To Enter
Simply spend $75 or more at MYER Erina between 9am Monday 21 April and 11am Thursday 1 May 2008 for your chance to be an Owner for the Day. Fill out the entry form and place it into the barrel located in the Ladies Fashion department, at Myer Erina Fair by 11am Thursday 1 May 2008.
Entrants must be over the age of 18 to enter.
Prize Details
For every horse entered into the feature race, a lucky MYER customer will be drawn to become its Owner for the Day. Their prize pack will also include:
- An invitation for the winner and a friend to be MYER’s VIP Guests at MYER Ladies Day, valued at $300. Prize includes;
- Racecourse entry and racebook
- VIP Luncheon and beverages
- Afternoon tea
- A $100 each way bet on your horse from TAB, valued at $200
The Owner for the Day of the winning horse in the $50,000 MYER Ladies Day Handicap will participate in the official presentation, receive an exclusive MYER owner’s trophy, and a MYER Gift Hamper valued at $1000.
A public draw for each horse in the MYER Ladies Day Handicap (Sunday 4 May 2008) will take place in the Myer Erina Ladies Fashion department, on Thursday 1 May 2008 at 11am.
